Electroshock therapy????

Dive buddy is game so it looks like we're still coming, unless they radically change the forecast for the worse by morning. We should have an 11AM-3PM window to get a couple of dives in. Bet we won't have to worry about over-crowding. :D

Weather looks fine... I will be there about 1... so who else is going???

Thanks for the company and the tips Bill and Chuck.

I'm going to concede my attempt at the serious 'Swamper' title to the North. You CSSP regulars are diving in some seriously dark water, especially below 40 feet. I'm used to dark but clear water, where a divelight actually does some good. You guys win. :kiss2:

Not conceding the "fun" title though. :eyebrow:

I came here looking for a dive report. So did you
or didn't you?

Don't know what you're complaining about with the dark diving. I had ambient light at 80' today.

I saw Thomas at CSSP today....only person I knew except the staffers.

Did dive, of course. :)

Bill and his step-son were in the water wen we got there. Made one dive with them and one with Chuck. On our 1st dive we were feeling ambitious and went coffin hunting. Briefly checked out the thermocline at around 35 feet and the diving in ink below it too. I don't mean lack of light, I mean black water that absorbed everything we shined at it. Temps 81 above and 72 at 38 ft. Towards the end of the dive we settled for the airplane. Those are some small windows to be going in and out of. 2nd dive stayed above 30', in ambient light, and just went shark hunting. Nice toothy whale shark.

So where was the unSwamperish unmurky light-at-80-ft diving? :)

THAT would be at Lake Murray. You missed it by a day or two and about 100 miles. And BTW, I didn't say unmurky, just ambient light at 80 feet. Visibilty was 5-10 feet down there and a light is recommended but there was ambient light. I'm used to the 40 foot cut-off switch.
