I should be there. What time is everyone planning on showing up? I need to leave by 1 at the latest, so I'm thinking of getting down there around 8-8:30am.

The forecast is showing a due south wind at 17mph tomorrow. That's bad for Ft. W, since both coves face south. We'll see...anyone want to meet me at Cape Ann?

What do you mean "wrong about the winds?" Weather.com says the winds are coming from the south. Ft. Wetherhill faces south. That equals surf.

If I end up in RI, I'll be there 9:30-10.
the accuracy of weather.com and wind projections...they are predicting the 16-17 mph winds at ~3pm and about 9-10 mph at 9amish...
10mph = lot of surf or manageable????
(again, I don't have the experience in such matters)..
why don't we all pack up tonight and check the weather tomorrow (~7am?? ) when we wake up and then make a last minute decision????
I have Shellbird's cell number (and she mine) and I assume she has Soggy's..
anybody else weigh in on the board tonight....
so if it's still a go, we are saying 9-9:30 am, right????

Had to work late, missed the LDS, dog ate my homework, yadda yadda yadda... Long story short, don't feel like driving home in a rainstorm this weekend. Although if I could have made the shop before it closed I would definitely be going (renting a wetsuit and tanks).
