Well I am going to leave in the next or 20 I'll check back here to look for changes just before I leave....

I'll be driving a white impala.

See everyone there!

I'll call OOS, if I can get a wetsuit, I'll be there.

Shell, what's up?

You've been after that Henderson for a year. I wouldn't think that rental suits are worth it. If you've actually been diving, then you've probably spent more on rentals than the suit would have cost, to say nothing of the hygiene aspects of rental suits.

Vis was nonexistent today. 2 feet in places, and that was before the students were done.

But for the can lights, the instructors and I wouldn't have been able to communicate.

Matt and I ended up at Cathedral Rocks....vis there was in excess of 25 feet.

There was one heck of a thermocline around 10 feet....Matt got a 38 degree bottom temp at one point!

I figured with that South wind that Ft. W wouldn't be a great site today.

Besides vis, was it calm? I would have loved to have done Cath. this AM. Had scouting commitment w/ Son then had to get a mow in.. Cath is by far my favorite site on Cape Ann. Pls. PM me if you ever are going. Not many people are comfortable diving it. Don't mind the cold. Dove Scallop charter yesterday. Dove wet w/ 42-43 on bottom but worth cold as ended up w/ about 6 lbs of decent sized Scallops.

Pretty calm with some swells. It was a good day to dive Cathedral since high tide was 12:30, so our first dive was near high tide coming in, the second during slack tide. Both dives were started with a giant stride off the big-ass rock.

What wind? It was great weather at the Fort.

Viz was 5-10 in the left cove but overall not to bad.. 54 degrees at about 40'. Did two dives one on each side of the left cove.

Soggy once bubbled...

No surf in the early morning. Later, there was some surge. However, it was no big deal.

Right, but you said vis sucked....that was probably caused in part by the wind coming due south.

Regardless, Cathedral had some of the best visibility I've ever seen in New England.
