He said he wanted to avoid the expensive restaurants... which usually includes the overpriced ones, too.

I haven't heard of people being too happy with Spices lately...

Strange....spent almost a month in Kihei this winter and found Spices to be one of the more reasonably priced restaurants, and both the food and service were excellent
