I bought my FF Pros in the Keys back in 2000...they were on "clearance" in one of the dive shops. Paid $99.00 bucks for em. After the initial dives, I got used to the somewhat strange feel, as I was used to diving "paddle" style fins. These now well worn Pros are the only fins I've used for the last 10 years. They are scratched and scraped and look kinda beat up, but they still snap like when they were new! I think I will probably use this same pair forever unless they are lost or stolen. Bob makes an extremely high quality product, and I would replace them with the same model without a second thought. Scientific? No. Objective? Not really. Just the opinion of an avid diver and long time FF user.:D

slowpoke1, thanks for the nice comments. We are off Bora Bora, looking out the cabin window. Looks like a place for King Kong. Did a dive yesterday in a remote place here in French Polynesia..and with all the time I have spent underwater..never seen so many different types of fish. My dive buddies are Nan Marr and Jean-Michel Cousteau, and my wife Susanne so the dive was extra special. It's great to be the only Force Fin user on Board the Ship, Paul Gauguin. The food and service is unreal, will need a wheel chair to get off. To night we go for a night dive. Come a join us for another unreal dive trip in July, then their will be 4 of us using Force Fins. Best Bob and Susanne

Bob

You are doing one of the trips on my "Bucket List". I am very happy for you. Sounds like a fantastic trip.
ENJOY!!
I thought Jean-Michel wore Force Fins??

Bob...Thanks for innovation rather than imitation. I wish I could take you up on that trip! Have a great time and dive safe!

First of all let me say I know this is an old thread, but I've enjoyed going through each post to learn more about these fins and which ones I would be interested in getting (which is what brought me here anyway ~ research and reviews).

I noticed someone saying he couldn't justify $500 for a pair (actually not that expensive anymore according to the website). However it's really about the value and quality of the product as people like Bob and DA have pointed out. Maybe Bob should do some videos like these ones that show people why their product is more expensive than the competitors, or just the cheapest you can find.

This first one is for my friend's portrait studio. People would ask why his portraits were so expensive (rather than just getting a photo blown up at costco, etc.), but after seeing all he does they realize the price is worth it (if they really want such a keepsake portrait).

This second one is for a leather bag company, and I love how he sarcastically shows how to "fake" his bags, however what it really shows is why their bags are superior and worth every penny. Will everyone be willing to shell out the dollars for their bag, of course not, you buy what you need and can afford, and if you really want something because you see the value in it, then you save until you can afford it.

I haven't tried the Force Fins yet, but I really like the idea of them, and the reviews from so many people, that's why I'm interested in them, and yes I'm willing to spend more on fins if the performance, and quality meet what I'm looking for.

How refreshing, after 40 years with Force fins I was beginning to think I must be on another parallel universe. At this point I must have missed the boat, with most fins sales going to Jet fins, flat Shoe fins.. Now stepping into another Adventure,

I can only look back now and just say Thank you. Susanne and I have set up all operations in our Pennsylvania plant so we can grow in the near future. The video idea is great idea, but not sure that will help at this point in time. Best Wishers for 2017. Water Color by Gordon B. Evans

Hi Bob, I posted how much I love my force find in this thread earlier. So much so I have several different pairs, sizes. I use them with and without booties. My issue is my pair that I where on Cozumel with bare feet broke. They snapped on the blade right below the foot holder on the ridge. I have tried contacting your people on several sites to see if there may be a stray medium fin around I can buy. No luck. Anyone know of anyone with one fin for sale? Thanks. I still love them. As well as my Jets.lol

Wow Bob, I cannot believe the fast response. So cool, and Happy New Year by the way. I have the pro model, black with elastic cord ankle holder. They are medium. I have a size 9 foot. With a light Scuba sock these are perfect in warm water.
Many people I have lent them to on dives at the shop, Scubamau, on Cozumel Island. Many are proud owners of the ' duck' feet. Hahaha cheers. PS. I live in Alberta, Canada, if you find one I will gladly pay the costs!

Sounds like I will ask Robert to look into some boxes and we will see tomorrow. Best, Bob and also Happy New Year. Our Force fin response depend's on several new projects. I tried to shut down our operations several times..but new and old customer keep sending in orders, so Susanne and I are the only ones around with a staff of 12 in the past..so we do the best we can and thanks to my friend NETDOC we can be reached. The rest is done by 6 American workers in Pennsylvania each working day. We sure appreciate what they do... we feel Blessed.
