I use a standard cafeteria tray like this one:

I have a few of these... the lips stop roll offs. I hate to look for tiny crap on the floor. :D

Good point, I'll pick one up. Cheers.
Thirty years as a mechanic and many of those were in the "carburetor" era. I used to steal them from cafeterias, but now I can buy them off of Amazon. :D

Not sure about regulator pieces, but a plastic ice cube tray is dandy for keeping track of little screws and pieces when I take apart laptops and such.

If you use tweezers, sure. I use Tupperware or leave it on the tray. That's the cool thing about having at least three trays. Each stage gets its own tray. I used to have a dedicated space for rebuilding trays, and had a way to stack them in a holder out of the way. I had room to store 6 trays, just in case something had to stay apart for a while.

the dog hair in our house, compliments of our Siberian Husky and our Border Collie reek havoc on all my dive gear. Dog hairs stick to everything (except the dogs, apparently), and are so much fun when you are rolling your dry suit and thermals to pack them for a trip.....
