It seems "fluff" is a known adversary of reg servicing.

Before reading the thread, when just reading the title in the new posts list (not noticing the subforum), I thought a fellow diver is comiserating about the markup (fluff) in diving gear (pricing). Thought it might be an interesting thread.

Or drop them on fluffy floors after you've applied lube and get rid of your pets.

Better to learn this lesson on a regulator than a camera housing... or dive computer.

And people wonder why I'm uncomfortable with dive shops that service regulator and outboards on the same bench.
