What camera are you using. I have in mind that you have one of the Oly's.

Nope, it's a Canon A40.

.avi is the only format I have it in, but you should be able to open it with a current version of either Quicktime or Windows Media Player.

I need to use the video feature of my Oly more often!

it's a little harder to frame and put on the mantle, but if a picture is worth 1000 words, a short video clip is worth the whole book.

yes, pictures are great but the video is much closer to being there. Especially with sound!
