I was down for Ocean Fest in Ft. Lauderdale. Did numerous dives with Pro Dive and had a great time. Upon the plane home I noticed an article in the Sat paper that the !###! Cubans are going to drill for oil near the keys??? Talk about your environmental disaster just waiting to happen. The gulf stream will suck up the oil like a vacuum. Man could be dangerous to marine life, shores and of course diving in SE Fla. Anyone know about this idea. These are strange times we live in!!

Gov Bush stated two days ago that while the Cubans are allowed to pursue economic activity near the Keys, they will not be allowed to drill for oil. If they do in fact start drilling, then the permits that have been issued to them to pursue the economic activity will be terminated.

Hope that clears this issue up.

I am going to get a franchise of the Ghost Tours Walk. Twice a night there will be a ghost tours Swim. Everyone gets goulish gear and a buddy phone. We swim through the EeeeErriEE night reef with green filtered divelights.

I make up all kinds of tales of the people buried here. The fish-reincarnations, visits by lost souls of Atlantis and how every now and then you get a cold chill or you can feel strange forces pulling you to and fro...

Of course you will have to buy an official Atlantis Ghost Tours Dive Medalian.....
