were all waiting for the weekend weather to get wet.

Diving the ocean during November in SoFla......
Always a crapshoot.
Until the our cold wretched nasty sustained Winter weather gets here, it is very chancy if only a 2-3 day trip.

Experiencing crummy wretched wet Winter weather at the moment.

Ok, it looks like my only possible options will be one of the springs. Anyone need a dive buddy? I don't think I'm gonna make the drive if I don't have a buddy lined up.

Thanks for all the input

Oh bother....flying into West Palm Beach tomorrow morning with our first dive tentatively scheduled at BHB tomorrow evening. We were also hoping to line up a couple more two-tank trips on Friday and Saturday. Been so busy trying to get caught up at work, I didn't really check the weather for this weekend! We're leaving late afternoon Sunday, and diving was the only reason for our trip.

Hoping things look a little better on Friday through Saturday afternoon. :depressed:

BHB is still a good option even if viz is low... it's like an 1 1/2 hr drive for me (before exiting 95) i wonder what sort of mileage i'd get now...

Things are smoothing out or at least looking a little better for all of Friday, and then Saturday afternoon.
I am hoping to get out Sunday morning, and it does not look too bad.
If you are off a larger boat, it will probably be a "GEAUX".
As long as the inlets are safe to traverse I expect the boats to go.

with the cold front coming through and the building surf, the water coming into the BHB is going to have a lot of particulate in it, and likely very low vis tomorrow.

Keeping my eyes open for viz reports. I was planning to dive Saturday night. When's your next dive Tim?

depending on how the surf is -- might dig out the boogie board :) never really got a chance to learn to surf

Thinking Sat morning or evening if there is acceptable vis, leaning towards the morning.
