First time tank buyer...fair price?

For what its worth, http://www.scuba.com/shop/product.asp_category_131 has a brand new lp85 for sale for 199.95 with valve. The XS scuba one (I don't know who makes theirs), not the Faber listed above it.

I wonder, why is the faber 339, and the xs 199?

Well I bought it. It's in beautiful shape. I got it for $115. The dude just wanted to get rid of it to get a HP tank. He also works on a dive boat and said he had no use for it, cuz he gets to use all their LP tanks for free. Anyways, right after I got it I took it to get filled at a local shop, and had no problems. It had both the visual and hydro last month. I'll post a pic tomorrow when I get ahold of a camera.

I wonder, why is the faber 339, and the xs 199?

No idea. According to scuba.com the Faber is 2.3 pounds positive when empty and the XS Scuba (made by worthington) is 0.7 pounds positive empty. Which would you rather dive? I told a buddy about the price and he snatched two up today.
