FLNativeGuy: We have the same problem here on the west coast. The dredging from Feb has affected the only decent dive site for shore diving (off of Holmes Beach). It's pretty much covered in silt now, still alive but does not look that great and vis is constantly low (5 feet or less)). Gotta love all those ignoramuses, sorry local officials that only care for tourists.

Bilsant: Not really a newbie on shore diving but love the Drop Off, so I drive from the west coast quite often. Will check the Gold Coast Scuba website (would be interested to get together and try diving the Copenhagen plus the staghorn coral field nearby).
