Does anyone have advice on a nice little bed and breakfast in Cozumel? I got some great ideas from another thread - and we think Cozumel with xta sea divers, too.
Thanks for any advice you all have!

Here's a vote for Baldwin's Bed and Breakfast.

Cozumel Bed & Breakfast

We've stayed there several times and as Deborah said, they have loads of repeat customers. Although we now own a house in Coz, we visit Dale and Kathy (the owners) always when we are in Coz, usually go out for dinner, she gives me cuttings from her beautiful garden etc. etc. And they treat their guests even better!

Hi Marcy, DH and I stay at The SummerPlace Inn. It is located on Avenida 10 between 17 and 19. Walking distance to the Chedruai (5 min) and the Aldora Pier (15 min). the Inn has breakfast food available that the guest cooks themselves in either the Full well stocked outdoor Palapa Kitchen or if renting the condo unit, the private Condo Kitchen. The Inn is VERY Clean as is the swimming pool and common areas. There are no phones in the rooms, which is OK. All rooms have TV, AC, private bathroom and a small fridge for personal stuff. The owners and/or on site manager are always available to make a telephone available for your use if needed. The INN also has wireless internet included for guest use. DH actually worked this summer while sitting under the Palapa while I was swimming and sunning...very nice.

We also dive with Blue XT Sea. We usually walk to the pier, leaving SummerPlace Inn 30 min prior to the set meeting time at the pier. If we come across a taxi on our way, before the halfway point , we will take the cab. It is a $2.00 fare from Summer Place to Aldora Pier. If we are past the halfway point and still have not come across a cab, we just finish the walk to the pier, still having plenty of time to relax before departure time. I would say we come across a cab prior to the halfway point 95 % of the time. To return to the Inn we either walk or take a cab. Check it out at The Summer Place Inn - hotel in Cozumel, Mexico . check out Amaranto Bed & Breakfast:

Cozumel, Amaranto Bed and Breakfast Bungalows and Suites

If you're looking at Blue XtSea this b & b is right up the street from them, walking distance to town, and the couple that runs it is fantastic.

You likely wont find a better value in Coz.

Is this similar to the Tamarindo B & B ?

If you can, how would you compare this to Villas Las Anklas?

Palapas Amaranto and Tamarindo B&B are owned by the same people but are very different. From what I've heard from guests, Amaranto is the better choice even though there's no breakfast.
Villas Las Anclas is at least a full star class above regarding room & amenities as well as price. Las Anclas has a little bit over Amaranto on location, it's very marginal.

Not sure what Las Anklas prices are currently but these options seem VERY reasonable.
