A ScubaBoard Staff Message...

This thread is a sticky in the Cozumel Forum. However, it is not locked, so the discussion/debate can continue.
At your request, I have included an explanatory Modpost in the very first post. Immediately following that Modpost is a link to your spreadsheet. We will keep that link as long as the spreadsheet remains reasonably current.

Why do I not see it as a sticky?

Dude!
I think I'm older than you are!

Who says you can't teach an old dog...etc., etc.?

Add Scuba Total is been 23 years diving with them, always
And congratulations this a great project
So far I only have dive ops that are located on the island. Looked at the website and saw that they do have a trip to Cozumel from Cancun for $249. Not sure I want to start adding ops located on the mainland that make the trip to Coz although I've done it myself once. What can you tell me about the op? I know they transport you to Playa del Carmen and back - does their dive boat leave from there? Is there a minimum of divers needed to make the trip or does it go on certain days? Do they have snacks or a meal during the surface interval? I've only ever taken the ferry over - how is going over in a smaller boat? Do they offer a package of multiple days diving in Coz?

Like that the price includes everything fro the trip. Not ruling out putting them on the spreadsheet, but would like to know more - wish the website had a few more details about their trip to Coz.

Hi Jon, nice to hear from you , you have more info here , depart every day except Sundays , from play directly to Cozumel , no ferry , ,the boat is big and fast enough to carry 12 divers , like to keep small groups and personalized service. , more info here .https://www.scubatotal.com/cozumel-diving ,,, and answer your question in order
1.Yes boat leaves from playa and back
2.minimun divers 2
3.everyday except Sundays
4. Yes lunch , (nice and big sandwiches) fruit, (banana , melon and watermelon) bottled water and hot tea on winter
5. Is super convenient and comfortable to cross in the boat than the ferry , thas why we change years ago and divers love it. You can check some of TripAdvisor reviews to get a better idea
6. Yes we offer multiple days and also private tours
7. The prices are total including everything, everything, no hidden fees
Thanks for writing , hope to see you one day
Al.

It sounds like a good op for mainland business...
Not sure I want to start adding ops located on the mainland that make the trip to Coz
But I suggest that's overreaching here. Most members on this forum are Cozumel divers who would not like wading thru Cancun listings.
