Finally Dry

A buddy of mine finally went dry a several weeks ago after about two years of diving. Sadly, they *still* haven't gotten the thing wet! A travesty, I tell you!

Going dry is almost as great as getting wet in the first place. :biggrin:

BUT at some point in time the zip WILL gave way and burst open underwater

As the old saying goes, every drysuit becomes a wetsuit at some point in time!

Here is to that not happening to any of us!

By "zip" do you mean the entry zipper or zip seals?

Either way, I have been diving dry for over 15 years and diving zip seals for 3 and have never has any part of my suit "burst" anywhere,let alone under water. Poorly maintained equipment (or even well maintained equipment once it gets really old) will eventually leak, but that is usually much more a seep than the catastrophic failure you imply.
