Well when i dive the FFM i tend to use a second cylinder where i connect the regulator to the FFM and the octopus as a spare in case my buddy needs air, that mean that in case i run out of air i will get from my second cylinder and in case my bussy runs out of air i will give him from the second cylinder and not the one i am currently using. No, that sounds like a good system for redundancy Jonny, one of the big issues in past discussions has been the ease of switching mix which is pretty much eliminated with this style of mask.

I along with you, prefer using a gas switching block and a redundant gas source.
