Ok my second idea. Get green and purple balloons, fill with water, attach all over wetsuit. (red and green grapes). If you need a drink, just pop one off...

How about going as Jaquelin Bissett in "The Deep" ( I think that was the movie title...didn't really pay attention to the plot....)
Anyway, I seem to recall a T-shirt as part of the costume...and a snorkel
It gets you out of the deal pretty cheap!

Ohhhhh she'll like that idea, she's been itchin' to be a bridesmaid, with REALLY big hair. Although the hair would be tough underwater. Maybe she could get some old time Aquanet Hairspray!!!!!
Being "fancy", my first thoughts were Tux and Gown. I see it's already been posted. If you really want to get attention switch it up. You wear the Tux, Him the Gown!!

octopus... if you stick fabric tentacles onto yourself they'll float around in a really cool way..
