When I started importing and distributing Faber tanks I asked them to stamp the size on them and they refused so I asked for a part number instead. That is why all Sea Pearls tanks will state SP100 (100cf) SP80 (80cf), etc.
I also had them start stamping the REE number on all our tanks. It seems like the simplest things escape the big boys.

Can you talk them into making a 3442psi 7 liter or 7.8 liter 5.5" diameter tank for the US market? :)

I'm out of the scuba business now, sold the company at the high point two years ago and living good off sale.
I never found Faber to be a company that was responsive to the market. When I was their distributor I tried multiple times to get them to change their 6.73" 71cf into a shorter 7.25" diameter. Never got it! Think of all the problems with boots, bands, etc. that would have gone away.

6.73" is a common tank diameter in Europe with boots, bands and manifolds readily available from most of the companies that make manifolds for the US market. Faber already makes 116 tank models that are 6.73" in diameter.

Actually, I would have preferred them to change it to a longer 6" diameter tank (like their 3000 psi +10% 71 CF). Would have made a great set of triples.:D
