Hi from the other side of the state! A company needs to have more than just a great product line to survive over the long haul. Case in point, I've been trying to locate an E7-100 locally/regionally for about a month and a half, with no luck. Probably have to order from the web even though the shipping will cost a fortune.CRDiver:Even if PST goes under - from what I've heard, not likely - XS Scuba and Sea Pearls will be selling cylinders produced by Worthington which also utilize the exemption, so I think PST owners will be fine.
Holy crap, do I need to do a financial analysis on scuba companies before I buy their d*mned tanks? How do the 20 year old aluminum tanks survive that long with those types of regulations?Leadking:WRONG, WRONG WRONG, (WARNING BELLS)

DA Aquamaster:E7-100's are super tanks as you are essentially getting 100 cu ft for less bulk and only a couple more pounds than an AL 80. The downside is the exemption itself which could leave you stuck with an expensive wind chime if PST ever goes under or decides not to renew the exemption. But...if they were readily available I'd still buy several.
PST = galvanized finish. Faber = rust buckets.abouttime:PST vs. OMS vs. Faber
What is the difference between these tanks other than price?
The PST seems to be the least expensive at $180 for an E7-80.
The Faber and the OMS are around $275 for an 80.
