/highjack ... I solved that problem simply by wearing regular old dress socks. Socks give just enough protection that even skin waterlogged from continuous diving doesn't get abraded by seams in the boot.Right down the front of my boot is a seam....the seam rubs on the front of my ankle (where it naturally bends) and I look like I've had surgery on both feet. That's my only "injury"....I need new boots that don't have the seams in the front!

Skin torn off of your fingers from putting on a wetsuit is the one that comes to mind first.
