O-ring once bubbled...

I don't think my ex-g/f thinks I will ever grow up.. :D

My bf ranks my immaturity as one of my more enduring qualities...er...thanks I think ;)
I'll be completing my MA in I/O Psychology in May, which means I'm slightly more qualified to give bad advice than most people :)
Have been working in HR since I graduated undergrad and probably will stay in very pc-corporate america even with my very non-pc attitude...hey the money is good!
On a side note to this thread, I really believe education is overrated, I think people without advanced degrees tend to work harder in general, perhaps because they are trying to accomodate for something they feel is lacking. Heck, my mother is one of the smartest people I've ever met and she only has her HS diploma!

I have a completely useless bachelor's degree and a master's degree that almost guarantees I am unemployable... The only time I admit to either is to point out to people, that this could happen to you... put down that book and walk away very slowly.

;)

really really hard to complete my dissertation for my Ph.D. I've been writing for what seems like ages, and it has also caused me to ask myself what the heck was I thinking when I started graduate school. LOL

well I am going to be quit frank hear , I have asked that scuba board put a spell checker on this board for same reasons.
my self I have high school equiventlent .
why I had to drop out school when I was 15, I have been working ever sence, my father was hurt pulling a navy diver out of water that was bent real bad in the process he had pulled and torn ligaments and seveal ruptured disks ect and several back and neck surgery's.
I am not very good in spelling or in genral grammer .
I have tried to install some spell checkers but none seem to be very good and most check grammer at all .

Well, Victoria, I'm rootin' fer ya!

I am hoping and praying to finish my dissertation in the next couple of weeks so that I can fiiiiiiiiiiiiinally graduate with a doctorate in June.

After putting my four kids through college I decided to go back to college myself.

I figured since I was a Vietnam veteran that I still had my educational money coming to me that I earned. Come to find out that Congress screwed the veterans out of their money if they didn't use it within 10 years.

At any rate, I paid again out of my own pocket, and I did get my AAS. I would like to maybe get my BS at Pheonix U. but that is over 16 grand. I should live so long as to get my return on that investment.
:D

...college drop-out with 140-some credits, toward two different majors. Every now and then I take a class just because "one day" I'd like to finish my bachelors.

I learned an infinite amount more by starting and running a business, but I've always been much more hands-on than classroom. I'd say that I'm at least a Masters in the School of Life....that has to count for something!

I know what you mean scubagrl. After running this business, going on 25 years, I think I have experienced every human emotion and situation. Well, at least let me say that nothing would surprise me.

Yeah, I agree it is worth a Masters.

Is there anyone who think otheriwse?

The whole idea of education is to learn how to learn. This is why they call the ceremony at the end of your education a commencement exercise. A starting point.

The big question for this board should be: 'are we all certified divers?'
