the original orange dive watch was a doxa ......id love to get one its on my bucket list ....

I've dove with Palantic and they were not bad at all. The only issue I ever had with one was that I used it as a secondary with my Seac first stage and my Seac over pressurized it and caused it to free flow. After a small adjustment it has worked great ever since. If you buy a matching set I'm sure that wouldn't happen. I started diving using Seac because they are entirely made in Italy and the quality was very good. But the more gear I'm exposed to the more open I am to the more affordable brands as most everything is just a re-brand these days. My Henderson semi-dry wet-suit is a made in the same factory the Hollis one is and they are identical with just a different logo stamped on it and a different tag sew into the back. However, the Hollis is almost $100 more. I'm not big on paying for a logo I'm more interested in paying for what works and is reliable.
