EARLY morning dive sunday 7/20

if you head towards malibu past Pepperdine at the light (Webb Way) you want to make right towards the beach. It would be a left if you are heading away from malibu before the hill to pepperdine on PCH. then at the stop sign make a Right. You should be passing the Fire Station and go exactly 25 mph. Cops will nab you for speeding. head down the road till the end and then park on the side to your left before it kicks back out onto PCH.

Wait a minute.. G Colony IS the malibu road dive at the end of the rd before you exit back out to PCH? Apparently there are other entrances before that, I thought G colony was one of those.

We meet at the Beach area, at the end of Malibu Rd (at PCH) because of parking. At the gated entrances, there are only a couple spaces available. From the beach area, it is only a short walk down the beach to the entry.

From PCH, turn on Webb, then Right on Malibu rd. Take Malibu Rd to the end, approx. 2 miles, back to PCH. (it is a one way rd.) We will meet at the beach area, at the end of Malibu Rd.

You have an spg and a backup analog console. You don't really need the depth gauge for G-Colony and if you want it, you have the console anyways. You can still dive tables if you really want to get in the water.

This is true, but I was way too tired last night to change it out. If I had known earlier in the afternoon I would have switched it. Oh well... Next time.

Thanks to everyone that showed up today.

We had a good dive, seen a lobster, crabs, pipefish, Dolphins, and a couple other fish.

The conditions were better than yesterday. Had about an Erika and a half, to two Erikas, today

For those of you waiting for the report
...........Congrats to Aly for a flawless entry and exit. This was good, considering there was a pretty good surf at times.
