BTW: don't forget you offered me a new Zeagle Ranger BC and the regulator of my choice...

now now, don't get me into trouble.... you ARE NOT the sweetie / hon I am referring too!:nono: Besides, it was that equipment I was offering to you. More like I was recommending the better kind of vacuum and dish mop for you to you for your wife!

OD - save me from Butch's evil twin!

the dumbest thing regarding diving ??? Probaly admitting any of this in public hehe

Butch :Peace:

Never fear fair DG, tis I - Super Odie

Posing normally as a mild manner poster, when called upon he dashes into a unused TCP/IP port and emerges as the costumed and oh-so-sexy-in-neoprene superhero loved by all.

Faster than an airhog's breathing
More powerful than a PADI Divemaster
Able to leap to incredible conclusions in a single bound....

Seeing Evil-Butch sneaking up on fair and meek Diving Gal (ooooh swoon ) , he uncovers his attack plan. "Look Evil-Butch, an underwater camera bought in error!" Moving quickly, he attaches said camera to Evil-Butch's BCD. This camera floats! It throws off Evil-Butch's bouyancy and he floats away.... "Curse you Super Odie, I'lll Beeee Baaaccckkkk"

Will our hero save the day? Will he continue to rescue DG from Evil-Butch and the horrors of missing dry suits? Will he get his Wreck Speciality this weekend?

Stay tuned loyal listeners, Same OD-Time, Same OD-Station Same OD-Channel

[Cue closing credits]

This may be the dumbest thing that I have done.... on second thought naw!

Ah, so you're the author of that "Next time you have a bad day at the office" email are you Belushi?

I think my biggest gaff has got to be unclipping my pony only to find out that when I passed it up to the boat I was still attached - now where did I put that nice new Custom Diver reel? Yep 35m down on the Thistlegorm soemwhere - we did a S&R on the next dive but no sign......

Still I did pick up a rather nice suunto compass on the same holiday so almost even......

I set my steel tank up on the bed of my truck (120 PST), turned to pick up my daughter's little Al 63 and the big tank bit me on my heel! Gawd it hurts!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing broken, but my pride!

I didn't really have enough weight on, but I was so anxious to get wet that I jumped in anyhow, intending to just swim down enough for the pressure to do the rest. Well, there was also quite a bit of surge (the waves top-side were probably 5-6 feet and I just wanted off the boat because too many people were calling the Sea Gods), and so I stopped at the anchor line about 10 feet down to orient myself and (yes, you get the drift here), I reached out to grab the anchor line to turn myself head first to swim down and KABLAM I went flying a$$-over-eyes and lost my reg out of my mouth, and my mask went sideways and I didn't know which way was up, much less where I was. I put a little air in my BC and got back to the surface, put the reg in my mouth and was prepared to go for it again when I realized I only had one fin. No one else on the boat found it, so I had to sit out the rest of the day ... and got sunburned for all that!
