okay - before i become the world's pickiest customer:

I purchased a DS4 online in DIN mount - after several tries, finally got the YOKE converter that I wanted (NOT the adapter - the convertor which _replaces_ the DIN fitting)

Only thing is - the YOKE fitting is in a DULL finish - not the shiny CHROME of the DS4 or the original DIN mount...

If I had purchased the YOKE fitting original - do you think I would have gotten a shiny CHROME yoke fitting? I'd have expected the shiny one to match the body of the first stage - after all the yoke adapter _is shiny chrome_.

Anyway its a terrific regulator (with the ATX50 second), but I'm just curious if there may be two flavors of the yoke fitting...

I've put a shiney DIN connection in place of a dull yoke (TX100). They are all interchangable. No problem.

I have a very dull colored OMS DIN converter on my shiney DST first stage and I haven't heard one complaint-dive buddy, fish, seal, shark-nothing!

my setup is all shiny chrome...

You were probably supplied with a yoke converter for the TX100 first stage, which has the satin finish, but as long as it's compatable, you shouldn't have any problems!

Want to sell your DIN fitting? I have a (shiny) DST yoke reg I want to convert to DIN :tease:
