I thought I would cut him some slack since he only has 13 posts. I still know what it is like to be new to the board. At least he didn't ask about online purchases or split fins.
I didn't mean to be hard on him, but I guess it may have looked that way.

So what's wrong with the split fins I bought online...?

Trying to steer this back on topic.

If you use those split fins to drift dive with a certain instructor out of New Orleans "surely" you will die.

This story is a good example of why the Fling mandates everyone have a SMB---(& warns you before certain dives when/if you miss the tag line, be prepared for a 30 to 60 minute surface drift.........hmmm)........glad everything turned out OK for this coonass......

Yes, let's get back on topic.

Coonass? What's a coonass?

well you know when the valve malfunctions it is just like a rocket engine pointing down, must have been an e ticket ride huh, i wonder what max depth was? did he dent the bottom?

if you have a malfunctioning flipper, do you spinout?
and if your dive comp malfunctions do you lose all your seamail?
finally, if your dive suit malfunctions do you get a janet jackson badge?

Don't drop a tank onyertoe
