It occured to me today when i was diving that when i go diving i go to look at stuff and thats about my only aim,

But today i was diving with a different buddy (a mate i got certified with) and while half way during the dive we just started mucking around doing backflips and i took my fins off and went for a walk and we had a wrestle and stupid stuff like that and although i still take my diving serious but i had a blast today on my dives and i was thinking about it after and thought well what did u do when u go to a pool or the beach before becoming a diver !MUCK AROUND!

so i wanna hear peoples tales of fun stupid stuff you have done while diving and do u do that kinda stuff often

Brad,

I enjoy mucking around a bit underwater, although there's not a lot you can do without causing safety issues. My buddy and I will sometimes "wrestle" to see who can take the other's fins off first. Going for a walk is a time-honored Cayman custom.

Generally no - the risk seems to be too great and since I generally dive with my kids - I want to set an appropriate example.

I do like to hang upside down etc. during the safety stop.

Friends of mine in California introduced me to "moon walking" -- taking your fins off, getting the whole five pounds negative you can get, and then jumping off a submerged swim platform and doing acrobatics on the way down.

Of course, on the scooters, mucking around is almost obligatory. What scooter dive is complete without a couple of barrel rolls or a loop?

Is it just me? I'm having trouble reconciling these 2 statements. :D

Moonwalking sounds like a must-do activity ...
