Do you hear a squeak in your ears when you equalize?

If I get a squeak it's because I've waited too long to equalise.
I imagine it's the air squeezing through the compressed Eustachian tube.

Maybe your tube is narrow to begin with.

Sometimes I get the squeeks just walking around.
Not unusual at all.

I get squeaks even if I equalize while sitting on my desk It's perfectly normal.

Wait till you hear it coming up. The first time I heard this it totally freaked me out. Now I know that it means that I am coming up a little too fast.
