Me too, even though I am still working to aquire a "modern" BP/W I have always dived back inflation except for the early times when I had nothing and a short time in the very early 70s with a horsecollar. I have had, especially in the 80s, several boats and dive masters give me problems with back inflation BCs. Yeah, those Atpacs were way cool. Never owned one but I got to use one a few times. Very neat piece of equipment you have there. I too like the BP/W because it is so vintage appearing and sleek. If a person likes the jackets, great, let them use them. I never liked them and these new types that have back inflation with the soft harness seem like a good compromise for those who started out with jackets. I never used the jackets so I don't feel like compromising or only going half way. N
