thanks everyone. just trying to decide whether to buy the DIN regulator and a yoke adapter. it's not really a big deal that using the adapter adds the o-ring thing back into the equation, right? and do you situate the tank a little lower to avoid hitting your head on the valve since with the adapter it will be so big??

Raising & lowering the tank will effect your trim. I had a DIN reg that I used with an adapter but kept whacking my head. Finally juste converted it to yoke. With a few tools, it is easy to do the conversion if you want to switch back & forth. I don't intend to go for HP tanks so yokes are just fine.
