The ankle weights go around the valve and can't fall off because the regulator goes over them..

Imo, that doesnt seem very sturdy regardless to ahve them sliding up and down, perhaps have a clip to clip it to your tank band so it isn't all over the place getting caught on things.

I've never had any trouble with them even sliding. I have to push them down toward the cam band for correct trim and the BCD seems to hold them in place great. When I dive I am in ant orientation that i need to be in even head down several times.

you can add and remove weights in 1/2 pound increments to adjust your trim too

Seems like really small ankle weights then no? Only half a lb each?

Dectek:
Were you looking for something like this that can go onto the tank strap?
homemade weight pocket

Thanks, that is exactly what I ws looking for. I think I will use vecro instead of the buckets though. Any idea where to buy 3" webbing from?

I've occasionally used army surplus 1st aide pouches to hold weights on my belt and on my tank cam band. They are a couple bucks each if you can find them. But for my wife, I went with the XSscuba pouches.
