Beign filters so expensive and needing to bring them from the US to Ecuador, I found that there are 3 dollar filters from mako up to 79 and + $$ I lost my trust in this filters

Does anybody know if a simple plastic film from the old red and blue 3D glasses work?

Or how could I make a filter for my camera??
