A little late to the game but on my laminate suit I used a silicone type adhesive to make a gasket. It is removable. Best part no leaks.

Never too late!

It seems most of the valves require some type of gasket to be installed to prevent leaks, however the Trigon has a port in the kit that gets glued to the suit. I guess I'll report back, my only worry is I may have to bevel the edge where the port goes to accommodate a little thicker drysuit.
