So I am curious,

Why do people get divorced? I am interested in real experiences, like my ex and I got divorced because she was DIR and I wasn't or our friends got divorced because....blah blah...

We got divorced cause i could no longer stand to be in the same house with her,not to mention the fact i friggin hated her.

That was a major stress relief.I feel much better now :D

My Parents divorced when I was 13 due to his "habbit" of having affairs... AND.... he was an alcoholic who had us evicted twice from our home. He would spend money paying for rounds of beer at the local pub to "make friends" instead of paying the rent & feeding his children.

It wasn't always that way..was it?

random reasons:

The longer you're with someone, the more you get to know them. Sometimes it's just as simple as you aren't compatable. People grow at different paces. Sometimes one continues on with life and one stays at a certain level... this contributing to the 'just not compatible' issue. The more you get to know someone, the more you take things for granted... complacency is a relationship killer; grow to complacent; next thing everything falls apart and you either see through the hate and work it out, or you run with it and end up to a point where there's just no getting back to where you started from; Trust is essential in a relationship... you loose that; and there's almost no chance it's coming back..

With a rough childhood and all..... I believe it makes me appreciate things a lot better than taking everyday life for granted.

When the road to marriage is at my footsteps, I will go into it with eyes open wide.

And BTW, I am doing well!
