Diving with Disabilities

I just finished reading this article on Aquaviews - Diving With Disabilities: Out Of The Wheelchair And Into The Blue and I was incredibly surprised to learn that many disabilities don't inhibit diving. I can only assume the joy that some of these people experience having uninhibited mobility as I know I do! I just noticed SB has its own subforum dedicated to disabled divers. I could have posted this there but I thought the general community should be aware of who can benefit from doing what we all love and encourage them to join us!

I love in the newsletter the part where Ericka writes she "played with a baby crab" ... if so the picture shows one BIG BABY! Reminds me of Hallloween and sticking your hand into a bowl while blindfolded. She is one brave woman!
