Diving Grammar

I dig on "diven" and "doven". I'm thinking we should be rebellious and use these terms.

It would be like running with scissors, only more daring...

Both sound OK to me

I dove...
I have dived...

Dang...we must be sitting around with nothin' to do today!

Both sound OK because both are OK. Dived and dove are standard as the past tense of dive. Doesn't matter a bit which one you use. Anyone who corrects you for using one or the other is just flat wrong. Buy 'em a dictionary!

Is it "dove" or "dived" for past tense?
