I dig on "diven" and "doven". I'm thinking we should be rebellious and use these terms.

It would be like running with scissors, only more daring...

Maybe we could get on Oprah!

rob_za:
Both sound OK to me

I dove...
I have dived...

Dang...we must be sitting around with nothin' to do today!;)

Both sound OK because both are OK. Dived and dove are standard as the past tense of dive. Doesn't matter a bit which one you use. Anyone who corrects you for using one or the other is just flat wrong. Buy 'em a dictionary!:D

I was diving with...

I dove with... I dove on that wreck

PvilleStang:
So its just itching too bad:

Is it "dove" or "dived" for past tense?

It could just be me after getting up at 6, who knows?

I think Dove is a kinda bird...
here in the city we call 'em Pidgeons.
Now Stang...
If it still itches at 6 a.m. theres nothin' to worry about but if it still itches after tomorrow then it, " Has Dived "

I hope you just "Doved" there.
Keep us up to date on that OK and I hope you get better !!

:D

Walter:
.....but only if you're the type who uses "your" when you mean "you're."

3 pointer, Walter. :)

I say we give Foo the final authority here--she is, after all, THE TEACHER!
