A few years back, I ordered a custom dry suit from DC. The experience was utterly horrible. The suit was mismade in a way that should have been obvious to anyone who has ever dived a dry suit . . . and because of the design, the problem could not be fixed. The best they would do for me was make me a new suit at cost -- but the new suit didn't fit, either (it was at least safely diveable). I ended up paying $3400 for two dry suits I couldn't dive, and some of the same mistakes were made on both of them (on BOTH, the boots were too big, and had to be sent back to be changed. You'd think they would have made note of this the first time.).
In the end, I came away profoundly unhappy with custom anything, and with Diving Concepts in general. As described, they would not talk to me, and they tried to put off all the problems as the fault of the local dive shop.
