Is it crazy that I think that a device to monitor your breathing could be a good thing? I mean, some day well have dive computers that monitor your breathing, heart rate, maybe the carbon monoxide, the rate of nitrogen absorption, etc.

I am not sure this device is something amazing, but I'd really like to see something substantive as a reason it's so bad, not just that you wouldn't dive with someone using one. Show some class, in other words.

And if the diver guard fails to recognize your breathing and puts you in an uncontrolled ascent?? Just another thing that can go wrong. Keep it simple stupid KISS
