'tis interesting that he got the bends from only 14m. Guess maybe he'd being doing a lot of diving previous?

Well they didn't say he definitely had the bends. He could have also been in shock and thought maybe he was having symtoms, you know? Guess, they went with better safe than sorry. Just a thought.

Dare I ask.....where was his buddy?

I would like to hear the whole story, although we probably never will. For example, was he floating a dive flag that the troller ignored or didn't see? And where was his buddy?
