He was on Big 106 radio station this morning and did mention that he did see the lovely gator going in the water just before he also went in to find the balls.

He is not going to stop doing this job as he makes good money and has a few other golf courses that have contracts with him and that all jobs have risks no matter what you do for a living.

I have had close encounters with gators on silver river doing a drft on river they are funny reps i have took hold of a few of their tales ut know when to stop of course that was the smaller nes 4 to 6 feet you know when they are tired of it

yea, those people living on the golf courses in Florida gotta watch the toddlers in thier back yards.
People living here on golf courses aren't young enough to have toddlers.. Depends perhaps, but not toddlers.... little sprites for dogs but not toddlers

BOYNTON BEACH -- A diver hired by the city to retrieve golf balls from a lake was attacked by a 9-foot alligator that bit the man's arm.

The alligator apparently bit his air tank and tried to pull him under the water. he grabbed a utility knife strapped to his dive suit and tried to stab the animal. That's when it bit his arm.

He was treated at a hospital for injuries similar to a dog bite

Glad he's ok !

Oh.... mY .... GOD .... Wouldn't you just LOSE it.....

R..

The good side of this is that once the crocodiles here, rigorously protected by the Fish & Wildlife folks and reproducing rapidly, start outgrowing the gators and reaching northern Australia size and ferocity, why we'll all look back on them sunshiney days in Floriduh when all y'all had to worry about was some itty bitty 9-foot gator.

lol I love those dir jokes.

I guess his mother never taught him to not bring a knife to an alligator fight.

WOW huge Alligator bitten "terrifying"
