I like Dez's comment about the perch that came up to his mask andstared him down when he was wearing his beanie thinking,
  • "The other diver's have ears...where's yours?"
And welcome TexDiver38 to our ranks.

I enjoyed diving with you guys. Had loads of fun and hope we can do it again real soon.

PS. And we're gonna inspect Dez for gills next time. 2 dives, 1.5 hrs on an AL80 @ 25 feet!!! Geez!

Much thanks for the voucher. I enjoyed meeting you all and the dives. Particular thanks to Dez for showing me the connection between my BCD inflator hose and that mysterious (and until now, unused) velcro strap on my BCD. :sorry:

:thumb: Welcome to the swampers Texdiver38. I'm still short of the piranha perch bite. Maybe I can wear some sort of fishing tackle for earrings.Oh the things divers will do for the love of this sport.

Speaking of which earrings.... I have lost a heart shaped opal earring at Clear Springs under the North dock . I know it's next to impossible to find but ya never know. It's on a small gold loop.

Yes ScubaTexan I did ask you to raise your hands- just didn't think anyone could do that on the internet but you proved me very wrong. Not trying to be mean or nothin but I think next comes the part where Moe yanks you up by the ear or something or someone gets their eyes poked - it has been a while since I've seen the Stooges. :mean:

How do ya'll do that "once bubbled" thing?

At the bottom righthand corner of each post is a button called 'Quote'. Select it instead of the 'Post Reply' button for the associated response that you want to add the 'Once Bubbled" thingy to. Then just edit it as necessary in the text entry box.

And on quoting remember
  1. It's a nice thing to trim the quoted material down to just the bits that you need to refer to in order to make your point
  2. It's not a nice thing to quote a long post in its entireity just to give a once line answer (a.k.a. it's a waste of bandwidth)
If you or anyone has any other questions on how to make the board software dance and sing, feel free to direct them to Dee, the moderators, or myself (former moderator).

I see your handle has been added to the Austin crew so I'd say yep, your in.

Now, go forth and multiply.

Just home from 2 dives at Mansfield Dam with CarlisleRE. Do I now qualify as a TSDT?

You're legal and everything! Maybe for the first time? :tease: :eek:ut:
