Major changes: Added dive planner, dive sequences and DCbuddy support for several dive computers.
divePAL for Android App is available on Google Play
Dive Planner
Now you can use divePAL to plan your "next dive" as soon as you get out of the water.
First retrieve the log of the dive you just completed (either using a bluebuddy or a DCbuddy). Then click on the P icon ....
Now use the planning screen to enter surface interval, gas mix, conservatism and planning method (for more info on the various planning methods please check out this post).
Once you are ready, tap on "View Plan" ....
.... and the App will automatically generate the plan for your new dive.
Note how the N2 curve this time does not start from 0
When selecting a pre-planned square profile, you may edit the profile after viewing it with the edit menu item/action icon.
After creating the profile (by drawing it or selecting a pre-planned option), you may save the newly created plan locally by pressing selecting the "Save" button/action icon.
Please note that the Dive Planning feature requires the Advanced license or higher.
Analyzing sequences of dives
- Similarly to divePAL Windows and divePAL iPad, now also divePAL Android can analyze sequences of dives.
When viewing a dive profile of a dive, divePAL will check for other locally stored logs that occurred in the 24 hour period leading up to the dive.
If some such logs are found, you will be prompted to select which should be included in the analysis of the dive. Selected dives will be factored into the tissue saturation calculations for the current profile.
Please note that this feature requires the Advanced license or higher.
