Hi All, I'm new to the board so forgive me if this post is in the wrong place.

Went to the NEC yesterday, what a bunfight!!!

Anyway, after purchasing a new set of Apeks regs which i thought were extremely good value, I managed to purchase for myself a Suunto Equilite 1000 BCD, the one without intergrated weights. It was a stupid, panic buy type thing, "£150" he said. "oooh thats seems reasonable" I said and without giving much more thought to the matter, promplty handed over my credit card for swiping.
Now I know Sunnto is tried and tested as a computer solution, but I don't know much about anything else they lay their name to. The BCD looks well made, if not a little basic, but considering the price I guess you can't expect too much for the money.

Does anyone have any experience of these bcd's at all?? And have I done a wrong un??

Cheers

Nick

I don't know anyting about that specific BC but if it fits you properly and is well made then it should a reasonable purchase. A BC doesn't really need much in the way of bells and whistles. You could accomplish the same purpose with an inner tube from a tire ;)
