Now if you were in some exotic location like Fresno we might think about it. :D :D

You won't have any trouble filling it.

Ah if it was east coast it would be a nobrainer for me.

Modesto is like Fresno was 25 years ago.:D

I started out in the world in on a dary farm in Manteca. Everyone had a horse except me. Toss a saddle on COOKIE the cow and off we went. I was the only one that had to be home for milking. :D (THE COW, not me.):mooner:

I know it's probably not the best time of year, but I thought I'd start early. We are hosting a Dive Rescue International Dive Resce I class August 15-17, 2007. Here is the official link:

http://www.diverescueintl.com/doc/Modesto, CA_DRI_flyer.pdf

This is a great program taught by instructors who are active PSD's.

I hope you can make it.
I took mine at the Fire Academy here in GA. It was broke up into 2 classes Dart and PSD. It was 2 hard week's prob. 90 hour's. It was the Best scuba class'es I ever have taken. Good luck to all that take it.

I wanted to let Josh (A/K/A Cheekymonkey) know that programs are scheduled for the east coast also (see below).

New programs are added to the calendar weekly and updated information as well as specific class information can be viewed online at: http://www.diverescueintl.com/tr_calendar.html

If there is an agency interested in hosting a Dive Rescue International training program, please contact the Dive Rescue International office at 800-248-3483. By hosting a class, a department can send a number of personnel through the program at no charge, or a discounted rate, and save on travel expenses.

Josh ... I hope you can make it down to Delray or Palm Beach this spring. Our department (Indian River County Fire Rescue - Vero Beach, FL) will host a Med Dive program in May so our EMTs and paramedics can knock out 20 CEUs.

Happy New Year!
