Nice photos Ben and thanks for the report. I have yet to dive Monastery yet .... although with those conditions, I would have given it a go. :)

We dove the North Coast on Saturday. Vis was OK and even though the swells were down, the surge was pretty bad. We did get to see the mast of the shipwreck the Norlina sticking out of the water. In the future we are going to attempt to dive it on a really calm, high tide day as it is kinda in the surf zone.
 
I'm jealous...I was in Louisiana watching the LSU vs Arkansas game....Really short trip home for thanksgiving. Looks like I missed out on some great conditions at Monastery...That first beach picture looks like you took it at a lake. :) Cool pictures!
