With the swell report looking so good and reports of thick red tide on the Monterey side Ted and I looked at CRB and Monastery....

At South Monastery we arrived to flat water and waves that were barely ankle slappers. the beach was littered with old smelly kelp from the past weeks swells and the tide was going out.... Doesn't get any better than this.

The wind picked up as we were kicking out but had no effect on the dive.

Exit with doubles was a PIA

Oh, that brought back memories.

So, Ben, where are the pictures? It isn't a "Ben dive report" without them!

For some reason SB doesn't like the links to my album and who has time to manually upload the pics....

Great report Ben!!

Looks like you guy's had a nice time and great conditions, Wish I could have been there.

I am afraid I have been a bit like Erickson , Ya You Scubajunkee and not been diving in a couple weeks, Or in Scubajunkee's case Years!!!:rofl3:

Glad to hear you had such a great time Ben and will see you soon!!

BEN!!

Thanks or the report buddy. The pics look great and looks like you have a very nice dive. :D

Hey Erickson,
Headed out about 300 ducking under the kelp then following the rock/sand interface.... hooked around the point.... hit turn time then back to the shallows... finished up with a few drills... great day to be out... surprised that there weren't more people there...

Speaking of tanks... I might have some HP 100's going on the market soon.... :)

Jim,
Don't have anything better to do than take shots of the moon? :) maybe that's why I haven't see you around.

Buck,
Yeah it wasn't the best but when Monastery is that flat you cannot pass that up.

Hey Ben .... How are you my friend?

Ya I know I havent been there latley, Just so much going on right now.

Ya I know taking pic's of the moon my seem funny but it is one good way to get to know the new camera set-up on land before it hits the water.

Your pictures looked real nice buddy.
