Calm seas were on tap today as we headed out to the Wallace Liberty Ship, She sits in 94 fsw.
I haven't dove this site in years and was pleasantly surprised at how this WWII Ship that was sank as a artificial reef in the 1970's has broken in three pieces. This makes for a much better dive site than it was before hurricane Ivan did it's thing on her. Lot of sea life to see on this site and I managed to get a few Shovel Nose Lobster. Vis below the murk layer was a good 30-35 foot Water temp on the surface of 77* and at depth it was 71*.
Second Dive we hit Atlantis (bridge spans) in 80fsw. Vis was about the same as well as water temp. This site makes a great second dive and has some parts that rise off the sea floor as much as 25'.
Another Great Day on the Cat-N-Around
