Great link Dan! I had a similiar experience going back to Gerstle this time. My first time there was in Feb of last year. It was my first Northern Calif dive and I was amazed at my friend's excitement about the 15ft vis we had. I had just gotten back from finishing my AOW in Hawaii and hadn't been diving anywhere other than there and Catalina. Their excitement about 15ft vis was a real shock to me, which I find pretty funny now that I see how excited I get about it. It was such a treat to dive the cove this time with a different perspective and a real appreciation of the beauty it holds.
