Cool pictures! The sea lion picture looks kind of like the one they show on the cover of one of those Galapagos videos. :) Very cool.

Are you saying I have an unhealthy fascination with fish butts? :) They never see to want to stay still and they don't like it when you try to grab them and make them model for you.

And you've now reminded me that I need to put my blog for the channel islands trip up. :) I'm like 3 weeks overdue with that trip report. :)

Not saying that you have an unhealthy fascination but I did know that I would have to post that photo in your honor. :) and yes, I've been waiting for your blog.

Re: nude-ys ... That was funny!

Awesome pics and video Sarah!! It looks like you had really good vis. I can't wait for my Channel Islands trip this month. :D

I dove McAbee with about 2ft of vis today to do a mapping project for class. We were going to do a 2nd dive at Breakwater but we were freezing and couldn't put our cold wetsuits back on, so we went and had lunch instead. I really need a drysuit!!!

Brad, you really need to stop molesting those poor fish trying to get them to model for you. :rofl3:

I'll try. Maybe the cute marine biologist with whom I did the rescue scenarios today can help me find a better way of getting the aminals to pose right. :) Oh and she really likes nudis. :)

Cute marine biologist eh??? Do tell! :) As for me - I had a lot of luck with that Copper Rockfish. S/he was really enamored by my taking photographs of it. I didn't post all of them since it would be pretty redundant, but I think I took about 8 before I was ready to move on. :)

very nice

WOW... great pictures... Anyway... I am home from FIJI and had a wonderful time.... Diving was ok... Avg viz was 60-80 since we had alot of rain and runoff... But thanks for the rain cuz it kept the humidity down a little and the sun from baking us...

Its back to work for a week then off to CI for a 3 day trip on the vision.... I hope to have great diving like you did....

Where did you go in Fiji? I'm going to Beqa in Feb and I can't wait. :D

Thanks JT...60-80 viz does not suck at all! We were not having that great of viz near islands so we stayed out in the open moreso which was great because it was a different sort of diving than I am accustomed to always diving from the shore. I would love to dive Fiji sometime...-any photos?
