Dive Insurance

Travelling to Holguin for one week vacation, hoping to do some diving, I carry DAN insurance and have contacted them and am covered only for medical evacuation. Can anyone let me know of insurance that covers scuba diving ? to be purchased in Canada. Thanks in advance

Sounds like you have only DAN membership which includes TravelersAssist. You need to add Dive Insurance there, at least the middle if not top plan - the cheapest being a poor choice. Did they not suggest this?

Wait! Holguin is in Cuba, so they may not be able to cover you there. That could be the problem.

That is the problem. I carry the top plan that DAN offers, and need to get dive insurance that will cover in Cuba.

You might also ask in the Canada forum. We Americans are not allowed to go there so most of us wouldn't know.

If DAN and evac you to Florida, then you are covered there - and that would be best, but you do want coverage while in Cuba I understand.
